How It Works:
At FindAMentor we encourage direct communication as much as possible.
You must be 18 years of age or older to join. You can be the guardian of a younger person and search
on their behalf. You cannot be younger than 18 years old and be a member of FindAMentor.com. If you
are younger than 18 years of age do not continue this process and delete your account. You can have
your parent or guardian join for you if you like.
What is mentoring? We see mentoring as a masterminding process where two people mastermind the
development of the mentee in a particular aspect of life.
Masterminding happens when two or more people come together to achieve a common objective. (In
this situation, the collective objective is the mentees’ personal development and skill acquisition, in the
category they have chosen to look for a mentor in. A mentor and mentee are masterminding the
mentees development — and, as a bonus, the mentor often grows as well)
We encourage you to build your profile and create a group in the category you are looking to grow in, or
willing to mentor someone in, so that you can invite a mentor/mentee to join. Groups are set up so
mentors and mentees can discuss what the mentee’s goals and challenges are, and then get support and
guidance, so they build skills and resilience. That’s how the site works.
1. Join.
2. Create a mastermind group.
3. Invite a mentor, mentee or mentees to join. In a mastermind environment it sometimes is better for
one mentor to guide many mentees at once. It’s proven that learning curves increase dramatically in
masterminding environments where 4 or 5 people share and learn form each other’s experiences with
the guidance of an expert. And real-life learning begins when we leave school and hit the big bad
exciting, loving and wonderful, all at once, world we all live in.
We learn different things in experiences. Its why employers value experience over education often. It
helps when we have guidance from someone with experience.
4. Discuss your goals and challenges with your mentor.
5. Share your personal information with each other when you trust the authenticity of the other
member and want to connect outside of FindAMentor.
The second way to take advantage of FindAMentor’s free service is to create a peer
mentoring/masterminding group. To do that, simply, create a group and invite other mentees.
Mastermind groups of 4 or 5 people (peer mentees) are best. Watch this video on peer mentoring and
masterminding to see how to do it best.

congratulations for taking responsibility for your success in all aspects of life.

P.S.
Wishing you success in every aspect of life. Remember that we grow quicker when we get help and
outside perspective. Talk to more than one mentor when you have a challenge. I personally use 4
mentors for each aspect of life. I have four mentors and more for business, 4 and more for
communications, etc.
Go make it an awesome day. Thank you for reading and being here. We appreciate you.
